Oct 11, 1950 - Apr 24, 2018
Dianne passed away surrounded by family at North Island Hospital in Courtenay after falling ill in Mexico in March. She is survived by her husband, Drew and children Laura (Marty), John (Kama), Mike (Kara).

She leaves behind her mother Zona Dusseault and siblings Brad, Deborah, Carol and Aaron as well as many grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will forever be a hole in our hearts but Dianne's values and insight will stay with us for generations.

Growing up in Jordan River in the 1950's sparked a lifelong love for nature and flowers. She attended St. Ann's Academy and excelled at reading, academics, running and high jump. Dianne became a mother at a young age and focused her life on family. She was candid, intelligent and witty and could beat anyone at a game of scrabble. She spent her years gardening, reading, knitting, doing crosswords and making the best pastry ever.

In later years, she looked forward to the warmth of winters in Mexico and truly lived a good life with family always close. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her in Canada and Mexico.

A celebration of Dianne's life will take place June 2, 2018, 2 pm at the Masonic Hall, 2687 Dunsmuir Ave. Cumberland.
