Dirk Peter

December 5, 1931 - July 7, 2008

Dick, as he was known to his family and friends, was a man alone in a house full of women. His wife Edie; sister Lilly Ann: daughters Corinne and Laurie; and granddaughters Mallory, Kelsea, and Natalie brought much joy to his life. Fortunately his sons-in-law, Brian Haver and Louis Beaudoin, soon joined the family.

Dick, a man of few words, was well read and loved to travel. He and Edie spent much of their time at their cottage on Timothy Lake in the Cariboo. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed his many boy toys. Though challenging at times, he was always a gentleman. Dick died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.' Dick is also survived by the Nassey, McNeely, Horsman, Brodie, and Whiteley families.

Even though he isd gone, his passion for the outdoors and this beautiful province lives on in us. Everytime we see the majestic Rocky Mountains or swim in a peaceful lake our hearts will surely warm with the memory of him. He was much loved, and will remain in our hearts forever.

A special thanks to Dr. Gino Tancon and the Home Care Professionals for their compassionate care and support.

Private family arrangements entrusted to Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road.
