October 6, 1939 – October 13, 2020
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolly Kerr who was with her husband and family by her side.
Dolly was born in Cumberland on October 6th, 1939 and was predeceased by her father (dad), Walter Bulloch and her mother (mom) Rita Bulloch.
Dolly has enjoyed a full life. She enjoyed traveling to Disneyland, Palm Springs and camping with her family at Loveland Lake.
She loved reminiscing about all the great times she had with everyone together.
She loved their house right on the Puntledge River where her and Dad shared amazing views and enjoyed the wildlife the river offered.
Another highlight of Mom’s life was having the opportunity to meet her Aussie relatives that came to visit her in Canada – great times!
Gardening and knitting were a passion of hers. Her grandkids were always outfitted with beautiful sweaters knitted by their Nan.
With her compassion for animals she worked at the Courtenay Vet Clinic for several years.
She leaves behind her best friend and husband of 60 years, Wayne, her three kids, Sandy (David), Duane (Corinne), Laurie (Pete), her eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott), Zach, Melissa, Jessica, Tucker, Bridget, Rylee and Georgia, her great-grandson, Cooper and her dog Bryndy who brought her so much joy.
She also leaves behind her sister Bonnie (Ted) and remained close with her nieces, Sherry and Cindy and late nephew Larry.
Dolly requested that no memorial service be held. Her family will be together holding each other up and sharing memories of the amazing wife, mom and Nan she was and will continue to be in our hearts forever.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Itta Winter for all of her amazing care and compassion during these difficult times.
We will love you forever and always xoxo
