It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Mervin Pritchard on June 17, 2022.
Don was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital on May 9, 1932, the youngest of three brothers all born and raised in the Comox Valley.
Don leaves behind his devoted wife Joan of 68 years.
Don and Joan raised their four children in various communities around BC where Don worked 40 years for Chevron Canada as a commission agent living in Kitimat, Terrace, Nanaimo and with 20 of these years, in Trail.
Don & Joan returned to the Comox Valley in 2000 to live out their retirement and often spoke of their longtime friends that were a big part of their lives together.
As well as his wife, Don leaves behind his 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
At Don’s request there will be no service.
