Our beloved Doreen Crawford passed away peacefully at a time of her own choosing surrounded by loving family members in Comox BC, December 17, 2019.
Doreen was born in London, England, April 3, 1926 and immigrated to Canada November 1952 where she was soon to meet her to be husband, Thomas Crawford. Doreen and Thomas married April 16, 1955 in NewPort, Essex.
Doreen lived a life full of many passions, including, travelling the world with Thomas, enjoying time in the sun in her garden, cooking, and spending time with her family. Doreen will be remembered for her witty charm and beautiful smile, bringing life in to all rooms she entered.
Survived by loving husband, Thomas of 64 years, daughter, Nicki (Mike) granddaughter, Christina (Wayne) great granddaughters Breanne (Dedo) and Kaylee. She was predeceased by her two parents Clarence and Enid Hadley along with her brother, Lawrence.
We are honouring Doreens request for no formal service however she would like to thank her friends for all the wonderful times, many thanks to all the extended help she received from the hospital and caregivers in her last months. A very special thanks to Dr. Bullock and the pretty lady, Dr. Daws.
