WOOD (COBBETT), Dorothy (Dot) Olive
Passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness at Youville Home, St Albert, 24 March 2011. She is survived by her beloved husband John of 54 years, son John Jr WOOD (Patricia), daughters Linda and Carol all of Saint John, NB., Cathy Madden (Jim) Kaslo, BC and Cindy Harrison (Frank), Morinville, AB. Six Grand Children and Eight Great Grand Children. Predeceased by her brother Ronald, she is survived by three sisters and eight brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, family and friends.
Dot was born in Saint John, NB., 28 May 1931, she met John in 1954 and they made Saint John their home until 1996. Following their daughter Cindy and the grandchildren, they have made Cold Lake, Comox and now Morinville their home.
Following Dot's wishes, there will not be a funeral. In her request to celebrate life she asked that all donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
