Douglas passed away from complications with his heart at Comox Valley Hospital during the late hours of August 10, 2018.
Survived by wife Sheila of 48 years, daughter Annette, son Norman (Tanya), grandsons; Shayne, Kyle and Slater.
He started out in the logging industry, then to a Seaman as a tow boat operator until his retirement. He loved spending time on the water and in the outdoors with his grandsons.Very loving dad and grandpa. He will be missed by many family and friends
