Douglas Arthur Houston

June 3, 1956 - September 30, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas announce his sudden and unexpected passing. He leaves behind his best friend, hunting partner, and loving wife of 31 years, Joanne, his children Sarah, Jason, Jodi, Niki, Mathew, and Courtney.
He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren Abigael, Charlotte, Oliver, Landon, Coby, Reid, Kinlie, and Tessa. He is fondly remembered by his sisters Hillary (Lindsey), Jane (Steve), niece, nephews, and great niece.
Doug served in the military from 1976-2007 retiring in Comox. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved fishing and hunting with his wife was his passion. When not doing that Doug loves gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, telling jokes, or rounding up his cats.
His drive by jokes will be sorely missed by many in the local community.
As per Doug's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1850 Robb Ave, Comox, BC on Friday Oct 11 from 4-8 pm.
