TOSOFF, Douglas Roy
December 19, 1931 ~ September 18, 2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Roy Tosoff. He passed away quietly at home in Cumberland, B.C. on September 18, 2010 with his family by his side.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Lillian of 55 years and his children, Betty (Reg), Norman (Louise), Laurie (Jamie), Brenda (Michael), Raymond (Lori), Marjorie (Sandy), Kevin and his grandchildren Sarah (Mike), Justin (Jezelle), Rae-Anne, Mike, Stephanie (Matt), Alexandra, Bradly, Cory, Devon, Randy, Shanna, Kyla and great grandchildren Lily and Logan.
Douglas is survived by his brothers Theodore, Albert (Jackie), Terry (Sherry), sisters Helen, Phyllis, Gladys (John), Kassey (Irvin), Ruth (Rod) and sisters in law Nancy and Doreen. He is predeceased by his father James, mother Gladys, brothers Donald, Robert and Alex.
Doug we hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain to walk with us through our lives until we meet again. "We love you and will miss you."
A very special thanks to Dr. Woldnik and his staff, to the Home Support Staff, the Comox Valley Hospice Society and the Red Cross. The family would like to give thanks to Helen and Bill and the 9th Street neighbours.
A celebration of Doug's life will take place at the Cumberland Buchanan Hall, 2674 Dunsmuir Ave on Saturday October 9th from 2:00-4:00.
