It is with heartfelt sorrow that Dunc’s family announce his passing.
Predeceased by his parents, Edna and Ross, brother George and sisters Lorna Cofield and Patricia Pearson.
Dunc will be greatly missed by Joanne, his wife of 59 years, daughter Debra Alexander (Bob), son Barry (Geri), grandson Joanathan Alexander (Magda) and great granddaughter Helena Alexander. He will also be missed by nieces and nephews and many others whose lives he touched.
Dunc was an automotive/heavy duty mechanic all his working life but the best time was Friday when he could go camping with friends. He especially loved beachcombing the shores and islands around Elk Bay. Dunc was very proud to be a fireman for the Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department and an ambulance driver when the ambulance service was part of the Cumberland Fire Department. Although Dunc was usually a very quiet person, he had many ways to show the love he had for his family and friends. There will never be another like him.
