It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earl Weir.
He is predeceased by his parents, Robert (Cracker) & Mae Weir. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by sisters Kathy (Joe), Brenda (Dave), brother Bob (Ann), Uncle Ed & Auntie Wilma and many family members.
Earl has spent the last 22 years in Nanaimo, living with and being cared for by sister Kathy and then moving to Malaspina Care Residence. Earl loved everyone and loved being with family. He had many friends and was well loved.
Donations in memory of Earl can be made to Nanaimo Special Olympics or charity of choice. A gathering may take place at a later date. Many thanks to all who cared for Earl.
