Edina “Daisy”

Born an amazing 97 years ago in Fairlight, Saskatchewan, Daisy passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord Jesus on October 18th, 2007.

She was predeceased by her husband Ted in 1993 and is survived by their three children; Shirley (Murray) of Chilliwack; Cathy (and friend, Alan) of Courtenay; Ed (Helen) of Comox. Also by five grandchildren: Ian (Debbie), Bryan (Cheryl), Dean, David (Julia), Tina (Brian), along with ten great grandchildren.

Daisy moved to Victoria in 1918 and into the Comox Valley in 1939. Whilst husband Ted owned the Comox Garage, Daisy excelled as a seamstress, serving a host of customers and charities with the efforts of her toil. She was a faithful member of St. Peters Church, Comox …much loved…and now much missed…especially her infectious smile and positive attitude to life. A Celebration of Daisy’s life and faith will be held at St. Peters Church, Church St, Comox on Friday, 26th October at 2:00 pm.
