It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother. She was the youngest daughter of Thomas and Susannah Allan and was born and raised in Newcastle, England. She was predeceased by her husband James. She was a member of the RAF from 1940 – 1943. She arrived in Newfoundland in 1948. She leaves behind her daughters Eileen, Judy, Joy, Carol (Chris), Betty (Van) and Gloria (Greg) and son Calvin (Debbie), 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to her caregivers at VIHA and the nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
