Survived by Donald (Anne) Denmark of Franklin,TN Janet (Brad) Minton of Port Alberni, BC Louise (Mike) Dutove of Merritt, BC Kathy (Woody) Weed of Albuquerque, NM; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; Norm's sisters, Joan and Edith; Barb's sister Mary (Bob);numerous nieces and nephews.

Barb, a graduate of Physiotherapy from McGill University, met Norm when he was a University of New Brunswick Forestry student and they married December 26, 1949 in Montreal,QC. During their journey together which took them to Iroquois Falls,ON, Hinton, AB, Kamloops, BC, Merritt, BC, Fernie, BC, Prince Albert,SK, Whitehorse,YK, and retirement in Comox, BC, they cultivated life long friendships and always enjoyed the adventure of camping and travel.

The opportunity to share their gifts of kindness, generosity and a willingness to be there for others showed as they opened their home and helped whenever they were called upon. Their faith in God sustained and steadied them through the ups and downs of life.

Together they leave a legacy of a walk of faith, the joy of family and the richness of friendship.

The family would like to thank The Florentine Seniors Residence Staff in Merritt, BC for their care and compassion over the past three years.

A celebration to honour Barb and Norm Denmark will be held Saturday April 27, 2019 at 1 pm. St. Peter's Church, 215 Church Street, Comox.
