Rose was born October 25, 1919 in Surrey, England and passed away in Comox on March 10, 2005 at the age of 85 years. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2004; brothers: John and Sidney; 1 granddaughter; 1 great-grandson; and 1 great-granddaughter. Rose will be sadly missed by her children: John (Marge) of Millet, AB, Alan (Tanya) of Langley, daughter Bev (Grant) of Cranbrook and Carole Robinson of New Westminster; as well as 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will also be missed by her sister Mary (Harry) and their family in England; 6 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law and their families in Ontario; extended family Ron and Carol, Rodney and Maelene and Lance, Grant and Clifford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the B.C. Lung Association. Private Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home and Crematorium.
