With sadness, we announce the passing of Ted Stevens. Ted showed great courage and dignity while dealing with a rare degenerative muscular disease for many years, never losing his positive attitude and sense of humour. Predeceased by his father Cyril Stevens, mother Annie Stevens and sister Joan Wright, he leaves to mourn his wife of 36 years Joan, sons Robert (Laura) and Stephen (Mary), daughter Deborah, and grandchildren Carmen, Danielle, Jonathon, Nicholes, and Dylan.
Ted and Joan spent many happy years together camping and fishing at their favourite places, Kitty Coleman and Ralph River, always with the company of good friends.
We wish to express our appreciation for the years of great care received from Drs. Neilson, Tancon, and Nap, special Nurse Erica and all the staff at Valley Care Medical. Thanks to the VIHA nurses and home care workers for all the wonderful care in the past year, and for the aid and support from the Lions Club and Red Cross.
At Ted’s request private family arrangements have been made.
