It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Edna May Jeffries on January 19, 2018.
Born and raised in Ballater, Scotland, mom immigrated to Canada with the love of her life, Philip in 1957 where they resided in Comox Valley.
Mom enjoyed many years of travel and gardening with dad by her side. She was a fabulous cook and talented knitter, but her greatest joy was time spent with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom's strength and determination to live life to the fullest shall remain an inspiration to all that knew her.
Edna is survived by Philip, her husband of 74 years, children Janet (Lloyd), Duncan (D'Anne), Juli, Jennifer (David), brother Duncan (Edith) as well as 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
