WARD, Edna May (Mee)
Edna died peacefully in her sleep at the Comox Valley Seniors Village on September 30, 2010 at 2:00 am. She was born in Cordova, Manitoba on May 1, 1923.
Loving wife of Cecil Ward for 60 years and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her parents, Oliver Wm. and Miriam Mee; sister, Lucy Kathleen Mee and brother, Albert Edward Mee. She is survived by her husband, Cecil; daughters Kathleen Woodward (Jack Miners) and Karen David (Russell); four grandchildren: Aaron, Carley, Cody and Rebecca; 2 great-grandchildren; Brooklyn and Lincoln.
Funeral Service will be held at Piercy’s ~ Mt. Washington Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Lawn Burial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
