Ed Ratcliffe lost his struggle with pulmonary fibrosis in Courtenay, BC, on Monday, May 3rd, 2004. Ed is survived by his wife Brenda; his children: Michael and Veralyn; his mother Jessie; and brothers: Bob (Faith), Jim (Bev); and many relatives and friends. His father Loyde and Heather, the mother of his children predeceased Ed. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Lung Association, in Ed’s name. Cremation has taken place; an informal gathering will take place in Trail, BC at the Trail Labour Centre: 910 Portland Street, Trail, BC on Saturday, May 8, 2004.
