Eleanor Elisabeth Corrigall

CORRIGALL – Eleanor Elisabeth Born in Park City Utah, USA, April 5, 1914 and died at Yucalta Lodge in Campbell River on January 8, 2002. Predeceased by her husband Josiah (Joe) in January 1967. Survived by daughter Laverna (Lorrie) Anderson of Nanaimo, Kenneth (Tansy) Corrigall of Campbell River and Ian (Heather) Corrigall of Surrey, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.


Her Early years were spent on Hornby and Denman Island, moving to Brown’s Bay in the early 40’s and moving to Campbell River in 1945, where she spent the balance of her life. She belonged th the River Lace Club and Women’s Institute for a number of years. She loved her garden and enjoyed bowling, and she loved to play cards especially with her grandchildren. She did numerous trips with the Happy Wanderers group. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her family and friends. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 12 at 11-am at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, 502 Dogwood St. Campbell River. Sutton’s in care of arrangements 287-4812
