Elfriede passed away peacefully at The Views, Comox, BC, after a long battle with cancer that she fought with grace and dignity.
Elfriede was predeceased by her parents, August and Olga Bojanowski, as well as sister Else and brothers Ewald, Arnold, Reinhold and Waldemar.
Elfriede is survived by husband Alfred and son Harry, as well as her sister Linda and brother Herman.
A very special thank you to Dr. Susan Hunter, who attended to Elfriede with great care and compassion throughout her illness; to Max and Miriam and Stu, and so many others at The Views with whom she connected during her time there.
A memorial service will be arranged at a future date.
Donations made in Elfriede's name to either the BC Cancer Society or the SPCA would be greatly appreciated.
