Elizabeth Bessie Hatt will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She is now with her devoted husband of 62 years Herbert (who predeceased her in 2001) and her eldest daughter Janet Sykes (predeceased in 2004). She is survived by her daughters JIll Bauman (John) and Julie Teichart (Ron); as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in London, England, she immigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1952 with her husband and daughters. Mom and Dad retired to Comox and had many happy years there enjoying the company of family and friends. Thank you to Dr. Anderson and the nurses and staff of the second floor of St. Joseph’s Hospital. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated if made in Elizabeth’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, PO Box 1225, Comox, BC V9N 7Z8.
