Elizabeth passed at Glacier View Lodge on December 6, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband Les; granddaughters Shirley Anne and Brenda Lee and eight siblings. Elizabeth was the second youngest of nine children and the last survivor of her immediate family. She is survived by her sons Ronald Halls, Donald Halls and Clifford Halls (Sherry), five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth belonged to the Canadian Kennel Club. She worked for Hartman’s Auto Supply until retirement. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. Elizabeth did not like large crowds or attention to herself but thoroughly enjoyed the party held to celebrate her 100th birthday. She was kind and had a great sense of humour. As her doctor said, “She didn’t turn 100 being a push over.”
