October 16, 1922 – July 28, 2013
Betty led a long and very active life travelling extensively across Canada with her husband, who was in the military. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Gerry in 1993 and her daughter-in-law, Lucienne in 2011. She is survived by her son Gerry in Montreal; daughter Pam (Randy) in Courtenay; grandchildren Kelly, Patrick, Shannon, Kris, and Thomas; and nine great grandchildren.
Heaven
Imagine stepping onto a shore and finding it Heaven.
Imagine taking hold of a hand and finding its God’s hand.
Imagine breathing new air and finding it celestial air.
Imagine feeling invigorated and finding it immortality.
Imagine passing from storm and tempest to an unknown calm.
Imagine waking and finding it home.
A Memorial Service to honour Betty’s life will be held on Friday, August 9th at 11:00 am at the Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville.
