Piercy, Ellenor May
Ellenor passed away peacefully in the E.C.U. of St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, November 30th, 2003 at the age of 87 years, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She is predeceased by her parents Harold and Lillian Watkinson, and her brother Roy. She is survived by Archie, her loving husband of 60 years; 2 sons: Cliff (Susan) and Pete (Donna); daughter Patty (Rick) Hawk; grandchildren: Kim, Jason, Amber, and Emma; 2 great-grandchildren: Tyler and Breanna; sister Lois Longfield; brother Wib Watkinson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ellenor was a long time member of St. George’s United Church, and a lifetime member of the Canadian Daughters League.
There will be a Funeral Service for Ellenor at St. George’s United Church on Thursday, December 4th, 2003 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ray Brandon and Rev. Neil Lemke officiating. Interment to follow in Courtenay Civic Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Daughters League Bursary Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
