Surrounded by family our Mother’s life ended July 16 after a battle with pneumonia at Richmond Hospital. Her struggle is over; God’s peace complete for her.
We thank you who attended to our Mother the last three years of her life for excellent care at Casa Loma, Cumberland Lodge, Minoru Residence and Richmond Hospital. Unqualified gratitude also goes to Dr. Woldnik.
She was tragically preceded in death by her husband Edmund (1970) and her daughter Linda (2005). We, her remaining five children: Alfred Maier, Albert Maier, Hertha Klann, Edmund Maier and Rosa Stuiver invite her various communities to join us in commending Mother to her Lord in worship, and for her burial on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 1:00 pm.
The service is at Faith Lutheran Church (17th & McPhee), Courtenay, BC with burial and dinner to follow.
