Elsie Yeo
July 21, 1933 – November 25, 2014
Elsie passed away suddenly and peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She leaves behind her loving husband of 61 years, Jack; children, Julie (Bill), Bill, and Jean (Jim); grandchildren, William, known as BJ, (Carla), Alan; great grandchildren Cavence and Sarah. Predeceased by her parents, brothers, and daughter-in-law, Andrea, Elsie will be missed by her brothers-in-law, Doug and Bill Yeo; many nieces, nephews and friends; as well as cousins in Northern Ireland.
Elsie worked with the Royal Bank for 22 years in Regina and Winnipeg. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Joseph’s Hospital and knitting for the gift shop as well as reading, baking and walking her dogs, first Nipper and later Archie.
Elsie was a strong, feisty woman and, against all odds, a 32 year breast cancer champion. Family was very important to Mom both close and extended. Mom was always there for us and took great delight in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
