ERNEST (Ernie) Mervin Kozak

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, brother and grandfather Ernie Kozak.
He is survived by his wife Carroll, sister Sylvia, brother John, his children Darrell (Renita), Marcel, Eric (Yolanda), Natasha (Marty), Jason, and grandchildren Kevin, Danica, Taze, Javan, Nicholas, Robinton, Rowan, Romana, and many other extended family members.
Ernie was born in Roblin, Manitoba and subsequently lived in Winnipeg for many years. He spent the last thirty-five years in the Comox Valley where he ran a successful machine shop business.
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, and prospecting and shared this love with many of his friends and family.
There will be a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1581 Dingwall Road, Courtenay on Saturday January 17, 2009 at 2pm with a gathering to follow at Royston Community Hall, 3902 South Island Highway, Royston at 3 pm.
