Eveline (Evelyn)
June 12, 1911 - June 18, 2008
Evelyn was born in St. Helen's, England. Her family moved to southern Saskatchewan in 1913. She married her high school sweetheart Wilbert, and moved to Sudbury where he worked as mine engineer with INCO. They raised their children in Sudbury. Following retirement, they spent their winters in Florida. Evelyn especially enjoyed these years taking part in potluck suppers, day trips and gardening. Following her husband's death she moved to Winnipeg to be near her daughter. Evelyn's sister, Muriel Hunt, joined her in Winnipeg at that time. In 2000, Evelyn and Muriel both moved to Comox when her daughter and son-in-law retired to the Valley. Evelyn died peacefully at Cumberland Lodge. She is survived by her daughter Jaye (Don) Castleden of Fanny Bay, son Con (Bev) Jarrett of Sudbury, daughter-in-law Roseann Jarrett of Lindon, Utah, and numerous grand & great-grandchildren.
