McMullin - Evelyn (Evy), wife of the late Stanley and companion of the late Dewiss Brown, passed away unexpectedly and very peacefully on February 28, 2003 at Mission Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her loving family, Janet (Fitzgibbon), Russell, Gray and Vickie (Kuruz), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her ten grandchildren, her four great grandchildren, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends. Mom will be sadly missed by all who knew her. On Friday, March 7, 2003, Visitation will take place at PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME, Courtenay from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a short service. Interment will be held following the service at the Courtenay Civic Cemetery, for her to be reunited with her late husband Stanley. Friends and relations are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life to be held at the Filberg Centre in Courtenay on Friday, March 7th from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
