It is with immense heartbreak that we announce the passing of Fran Middleton on June 17, 2018.
Fran will be lovingly remembered as the heart of our family by her partner Gord, her daughters Terry and Vicky and her son Brad. She will be greatly missed by her six grandsons as well as relatives and friends.
Born in Stevenston, Scotland Fran came to Canada when she was 18 to be a bridesmaid in her sister's wedding then ended up staying.
Many will remember Fran from the years that her and Norm owned Middleton Meats. She enjoyed travelling to places like Hawaii or Scotland or hitting the road with Gordie (and Kami) in their trailer and maybe finding a casino along the way.
We appreciate Dr. Winters for her excellent care and all the home visits. And a huge thank you to the nurses and care aides that looked after her so well and her neighbours that helped out during this difficult time.
We will all miss her quick wit and the ability to make us laugh. She will be forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Lung or Cancer societies would be welcome.
