In later years, he called Zeballos, BC his home and for a while he owned and operated a motel and gas station. He then went on to try his hand at prospecting for gold. After suffering a stroke he returned to Courtenay, BC.
Francis was truly a free spirit and will be missed greatly by his family and many, many friends.
See you later Cisco; or maybe Joe Cocker said it best – “I’ll get by with a little help from my friends.”
In Francis’ eyes…
“Everything is beautiful”
A Celebration of Life will be held by his family at a later date.
His family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Comox Valley Senior’s Centre for their care, kindness and friendship.
