Francois Emile Joseph Vandemeulebroecke passed away suddenly on March 4, 2004 at the young age of 40. He is survived by his son Axel (Josee Lambert) and daughter Alexandria (Cynthia Hines), his sister Luce and brother Jean-Marc. Family friends, Adele Burleigh, Barb Nairn, Debbie Galpin and James, and his many friends here in the Comox Valley and Quebec. Predeceased by his loving mother Marjolaine Dube and father Raymond Vandemeulebroecke.
Francois moved to the Comox Valley in 1991 from Quebec and quickly made many friends while working at Fields Sawmill. He was a nature lover and had a deep spirituality. The things in life he loved the most were his children. He will be sorely missed by many with his love for life and his dedication to his family and friends.
An informal celebration of life will be held on Thursday,March 11, 2004 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Glacier Tea Room at Piercy’s Funeral Home, 440 England Ave., Courtenay, BC. Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home in care of arrangements
