Frank Beavon Gough

Gough, Frank Beavon of Comox, passed away on Friday, April 19th, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, aged 83. He is survived by his loving wife Gert of 62 years, sons Frank (Diane), Gordie (Sue), Michael, Doug, Evan (Sharon), daughters Marlene Gough, Dorothy Johnson, Carolyn Larson and Sandy (Chris) Muzyka; grandchildren Rob, Tammy Dwayne, Darren, Kyla, Nathan, Danielle, Angie, Matthew, Shaun and Alycia, great-grandchildren Mark, Jordan, Ashley Diesel and Rhys; sisters Molly and Mona, and extended family David Johnson and Lance Larson. Frank served with the Canadian Army in Canada during World War 2.


He was a coastal B.C. pioneer, who loved nature and all it had to offer. A great outdoorsman, Frank was well known for his love of fishing, logging, camping, and travel, as well as his passion for woodworking and aviation.


A gathering of family and friends in celebration of his life will take place on Friday, April 26th, 2002 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the home of his daughter Carolyn, 556 Andrew Avenue, Comox. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Comox Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay.
