Frank graduated from Magee High School ('61); received UBC BSc ('64) and BArch ('70). He worked as an architect in Vancouver until retirement.
Frank and Nan raised their children in the Dunbar area of Vancouver before moving to Comox in 2017. He coached his daughter's Dunbar Soccer teams '83-'89 (Cheetahs, Crickets, Dynamos), and loved photography, watercolour painting, hiking, swimming, Dunbar CC birding & badminton groups, and walking his dogs in the endowment lands.
Frank was an elder at Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church. Friends were remembered and treasured by Frank throughout his dementia journey. Those memories were not taken from him.
We are thankful for the excellent programs of the BC Alzheimer's Society, the Vancouver Older Adult Mental Health & Addictions, and Crossreach Day Program. We are deeply grateful to Glacier View Lodge who provided Frank a safe home since 2017 and we thank each of the staff members for their sensitive and respectful care.
We will gather in the future when Covid numbers decrease. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Frank's memory to Glacier View Lodge, 2450 Back Rd, Courtenay, BC V9N 8B5.
