Of Cumberland, passed away in the presence of his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, March 24th, 2003, aged 72. Predeceased by his twin brother Walter and brothers Robert, Ruedi and Tony, Fred will be dearly missed by his wife of 51 years, Maria; daughters Verena (Ken), Beatrice (Craig), Doris (Brian) and Susan (Ralph); grandchildren Sarah, Eric, and Matt Hargreaves, Mandi, Darrell, Kayla and Travis Funk and Ryan and Colton Tuka; his brother Sepp; sisters Margrit and Terese and his beloved dogs Heidi and Goldie. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD.
