Passed away in her home in Courtenay, B.C. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
Born in 1941 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Gail moved with her family to the Comox Valley in 1973 where she ran a successful business for many years.
Gail is survived by her 4 children; Richard Dumas, Charlotte Wallis, Marlene Kenny and Reno Simmonds. Gail also leaves 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, her 3 sisters, Lorraine Landry, Barb Matthes, Jean Roch and brother Howard Fawcett.
Gail was a devoted wife and mother. She was strong, loyal, kind and generous.
The family wishes to thank Gail’s dedicated best friend, Cec McDougall, Dr. Adam Thompson and the caring staff of the Comox Valley Home Care South Team.
