It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Gale, who was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie and dear friend.
Gale was born on December 3, 1938 in Edmonton, Alberta and moved to the Comox Valley in 1974.
She was predeceased by her father and mother, Howard and Mary Todd, husband Donald Trotchie and son, Donald Trotchie Jr.
Gale was a very private person. Although she had many trials and tribulations throughout her life, especially the loss of her husband and son in 1972, she managed to find the strength to carry on. She loved gardening, the comfort of home, her two dogs Bowser and Dusty, but most of all loved her family.
Gale will be remembered for her kindness and caring nature to all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on February 2nd, 11:00 am at Christ The King Parish, reception to follow.
As an expression of sympathy, it would be Gale's wish to make a donation to the SPCA.
