Garry Joseph Ross, aka Roscoe, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox BC on Thursday, July 31st after battling cancer.
Beloved son of Floyd Alexander Ross and the late Anne Marie Ross (née MacPherson). Eldest sibling of 7 brothers & 4 sisters. Devoted father to Elijah Ross (m. Shannon), Crystal Welin (m. Ian) and Ashleigh Koglin. Grandfather to Isaac, Trey, Allysa, Quinn, Paige, Jessica and Annaka. Cherished by extended family Pauline, Amanda, Jason, Danielle, Kevin, Allison and Marie.
Special thank you to the nursing staff on the 1st floor and ER, housekeeping, security guards, and remaining medical staff for their care, patience and friendship.
Travelled across country for the love of nature, camping, golf, sports, music and family to find love, peace and happiness from Cornwall ON – through the prairies and Rockies, to his final resting place in the Comox Valley, BC.
