Gary Clayton Seal

November 6, 2006

Seal, Gary Clayton

1960 - 2006

Gary passed away November 6th at the age of 46 in the great outdoors that he loved so much. His passion for hunting, fishing and camping provided him the peace and solitude that he desired.

Gary was best known in the community for his years of commitment to coaching for the Comox Valley Boxing Club. His love of the sport served as an inspiration to his students who learned from his patient and careful instruction.

Gary’s extraordinary talent for printing and quest for perfection were evident in the work that he produced over the past 11 years for Key Graphics and previously for the Comox District Free Press. His pursuit of excellence was evident in everything that he did.

Predeceased by his father, Wilfred, his memory will be lovingly preserved by his mother, Joan, sister Deb McGee (Shane) of St. Albert, AB, brothers: Brian (Lorna) and Mark (Melissa) of Courtenay, BC, nephews: Justin and Callum, nieces: Shannon and Jillian and great-nephew Landon. Also entrusted with his cherished memory are his devoted friends Janice Wright and Mike Gansner. All of us who were blessed enough to experience his warm, genuine smile will forever be grateful to Gary for choosing us to share it with.

An informal gathering to remember Gary will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 4:00 pm at Piercy’s - Mt. Washington in Courtenay.
