It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.
Those who knew George know that he was an intensely private individual, practical minded and possessed a strong work ethic. He was very proud of his restaurant George's Food Bar and his company Mutsy Holdings.
George bravely battled cancer and continued to work daily in his restaurant and his garden until the last week of his life. Fortunately, George lived to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his restaurant on March 15, 2018.
Born in Canton, China, George immigrated with his family to Canada on August 8th 1953.
George will be missed by his wife of 56 years, Carol; his children, Donna (Ed Hanrahan), Danny, and Gary; grandchildren Alex and Walter, and by many other family members. He will now join his beloved dog Mutsy, who predeceased him.
George's family would especially like to thank Dr. McFadden and the care team at North Island Hospital. We thank everyone for their support and encouragement this past year. It has been greatly appreciated.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Piercy's-Mt. Washington Funeral Home (440 England Avenue).
