January 21 1927 - October 24 2016


George passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his wife Rita of 64 years and his children Ted Glen Jim (Dianna) David Kathleen (Don) also by many grandchildren, gr grandchildren & gr gr grandchildren, many relatives and dear friends & his little dog “Tippy” He is predeceased by his parents Mark & Nellie (Burkmar) Pimlott and 3 brothers William, Arthur & Charles.


Born & raised in Landford, BC he worked at the shipyards & around the golf courses, he completed his basic training with the military, but when that was over so was the war. He was awarded an honourable discharge. Later he moved to Courtenay where he tried his hand at Logging and Driving Truck. He worked hard for his family that he loved. Retirement gave him many hours of things he enjoyed doing, such as camping, fishing, woodworking, and baking his delicious bread.

Dr. Prinsloo for his care over the years, Suttons Funeral Home for the arrangements A tea was held October 28th in George’s memory, thank you to the many family & friends who came to remember this kind & wonderful man. Also many thanks to Wachiay Friendship Centre and the Komox Band.

There will be a private family interment on January 21 2017 what would have been George’s 90th birthday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Georges name to Evergreen Seniors Home. 635 Evergreen Rd, Campbell River BC. V9W 3R7
