It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald (Jerry) Nelson. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife May of 68 years, his children, Linda, Don, Dennis (Evie), Eric, Pat (Tracey), 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and his sister Margaret Anger (Don).
Jerry was pre-deceased by his grandson Michael Nelson in 2014.
After retiring from a career as a paper maker at the pulp and paper mill in Campbell River in 1988 he, along with his wife May, enjoyed wintering in Arizona, camping at the lake with family, gardening and he especially liked puttering in his garage at their home in Comox. For the last few years May and Jerry have made Berwick Retirement Residence in Comox their home.
