Our beloved mother passed away peacefully on Friday July 19, 2013.

We will always remember mom for her tireless spirit and sense of humour along with her generous nature and her willingness to continually learn from others. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Gerda had a passion for life and found opportunities to express her artistic abilities in her gardening and painting.

She is survived by daughters Dagmar Holland, Karin Burrill (Derrick), Kristina Wlodarczak (Robert Burton); grandsons James Burrill (Michelle), Curtis Burrill (Tina), Ryan Holland, Zakery Burton; grandaughters Natasha Mitchell (Scott), Katrina Bryant; great grandsons Ethan Burrill, James Mitchell, Callan Mitchell, Nicholas Burrill, Bastian Paris and great grandaughters; April Holland, Paige Burrill.

A Celebration of Gerda’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
