WILSON, Gladys Mary (nee Farmere)
Our mother quietly left this world on December 2, 2010 to join her husband, Teddy Wilson, parents: Emily and Bill Farmere, siblings: Johnny, Kay, Elsie, Bill, and Joyce.
Gladys was born in West Vancouver on March 29, 1917. Her family moved to the Comox Valley shortly after where she resided for her 93 years.
She is survived by her children: Ronald, Nadine (Mel), Peter (Cathy), Julia (Bill), Nancy (Ted), David (Rebecca), and Winona; eighteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; siblings Teddy (Peggy), Norman, Rosie (Reid) and Pat (Gerry).
Mom lived at the Comox Valley Seniors Village for the past year and half where she enjoyed new friends, music, activities, and the many bus rides. Thank you to the staff for creating such a wonderful home for her. Special thanks to Ole who danced a jig and blew her a kiss each day.
A private service was held for the family.
