It is with saddened heart that we announce Gord has passed away.
Gord always lived life on his own terms, he was the captain of his own ship. He was so fortunate to have so many great people in his life and he loved and appreciated all of them. He was thankful to share these feelings and times with many of them in his last days. Gord never lost his sense of humor, joking the day before he died, that he needed to remember his compass so that he would be able to find his way after he passed.
Gord leaves behind, his partner, Michelle (her daughter, Riley and son, Malcolm) who, with love, gave Gord the ability to flourish in his last battle; his son, Jacob, who gave him such joy; and his sister, JoAnne, who unconditionally loved her little brother.
May four strong winds guide you to soar with the eagles.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted at our home on September 24, 2011.
