Cave left us a little too soon. He had a good heart but bad aneurysm (undiagnosed). He leaves behind his sons: Rex and Bruce, and daughter, Colleen, and five grandchildren who all enjoyed his company. He told us not to send him off with too many tears just a few glasses of wine. So if you knew Cave there is a memorial at Comox Legion on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 1:00 pm.
Cave was active in the Comox Amateur Radio Club, Naval Association, Therapeutic Gardens, Elder College, and the tennis club.
