Kuschmiercz, Guenther Friedrich, aged 69, of Courtenay, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 4th, 2004. Predeceased by his daughter Susan, he is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving family; wife Marlene; daughter Jennifer (Andrew) Burton and grand-daughter Annika Samuelsen. Guenther was a skilled stonemason and bricklayer throughout his working life. He and Marlene retired to the Valley from Langley in 2001. Funeral services will be held from Henderson’s Funeral Home, Chilliwack on Monday, July 12th, at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Chilliwack Cemetery. Local arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 Ryan Road. Should friends wish, donations to Guenther’s memory to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
