Surrounded with the love of his family at Ocean View,
Comox, BC, it is with great sadness that we announce that Bob passed away peacefully.
Married on March 16, 1957 in St. Hubert, Quebec to Teri Ryz. They were very privileged to have four children.
Predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Margaret Sleigh, brother Frederick and sister Marion. Bob is survived by his wife Teri of 56 years, son Steve (Debbie), daughter Joni (John), daughter Tracey (Ray), son Kevin (Jacinthe), sisters Dorothy and Jeanne. As well, survived by his 10 grandchildren and
3 great grandchildren.
Bob served 29 years in the RCAF Military, retiring as a Master Warrant Officer of the 407 Squadron.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful and caring staff at Ocean View. As well, a special acknowledgement to Dr. Janice McLaughlin for her compassionate care.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at
Piercy’s-Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay, BC on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 1:00 - 3:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society Canada.
