Harold died peacefully, December 11th, surrounded by his family after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Survived by his loving wife of 49 1/2 years Lynda, son David (Lisa), daughters Melissa (Barry Pigeon) and Janine (Chris Murray), and his nine grandchildren; Matthew and Devyn Flint, Keely, Sophie and Christian Murray and Austin, Tannis, Darci and Olivia Pigeon.
Harold worked for 38 years at Elk Falls Pulp mill and had been retired for the last 17 years. He was also a founding member of the Oyster River Fire Rescue and served his community for 37 years as a firefighter before he retired in 2012.
Harold enjoyed his retirement with his wife Lynda and spent many hours in their garden at home and spoiled his grandchildren.
Family was extremely important to Harold and he cherished them all. He was his grandchildren’s loudest cheerleader no matter what the activity; there was barely a game or concert he missed.
